AFFC - Ambo Free Fight Competition - Amaro Bento

WHAT IS AFFC?

The AFFC is a competition-specific training program in the grappling variant without a Kimono.

Although it can be used in the self-defense aspect, it is important to emphasize that the main objective of the AFFC is the competitive sport practice, with practices governed by sport rules, in Tatamis or in Ringues.
Participation in competitions by athletes is not compulsory.
Since AFFC is a program independent of any Federation, its athletes, provided they abide by the rules of good conduct, are free to participate in any competition.

Founder:
The AFFC is a new program created in 2014, founded by Amaro Bento

Amaro Bento being a specialist in foot combat (Sanda, Tai Lei, Boxing, Kick Boxing, Pencak Silat), began his practice in martial arts through Judo and in traditional Jutsu Jiu-jitsu.
The development of specific techniques of ground combat was done after study and training with Masters of this type of martial arts, Masters with which Amaro Bento still trains in the present.
It is important to emphasize that the AFFC was not INVENTED by Amaro Bento, but rather composed with the help of other Masters, specialists in the arts of Ground Fighting.
Only the program of the discipline was designed by Amaro Bento, with the goal of introducing this new modality in the already well-known martial arts system with many champions around the world, ACDS (Ambo Combat & Defense System)
